From her commitment to make a difference in the social sector, Dr. Dillard created Avenir Consulting Partners in 2013 as a collective of experienced, credentialed, dedicated nonprofit leaders who Collaborate for the Common Good™. The collective includes consultants with varied backgrounds who leverage each others skills to best support our valued client partners.

She coaches individuals and teams in Organization Development, Culture Transformation, Strategic and Operational Planning and Talent Strategy implementation.

Her work leverages her hands-on experience and her sector-based research to support the unique needs of nonprofits at each life stage, from start-up to growth to complete organization transformation.

She has held multiple nonprofit roles including Chief People Officer, Chief Administrative Officer, Interim CEO, Founding Board Member, Board Member and Board Chair, following two decades in leadership roles in the corporate sector.

Her PhD is in Human and Organization Systems with a research emphasis on Organizational Psychodynamics and Followership. She is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR and SHRM-SCP) and is an ICF Credentialed Professional Coach (ACC).

Dr. Dillard is the past Board Chair of the Arizona Organization Development Network and co-founded the AZ Talent Co-op. Outside of Avenir, she is an avid Francophile, devoted wife and pet parent. In 2020, she became an Ovarian Cancer Warrior and advocates for early detection to save lives.
